“The thrill of victory....the agony of defeat.” This year's film-inspired concert celebrates the best in sports competition, both in the sports world and in the movie world. We will celebrate along with the American athletes in South Korea for the Winter Olympics and also revisit some of the greatest sports stories from the Cinema, including “The Natural,” “Rudy,” and “Hoosiers.”

About the Guest Artist
Sophie Madorsky, vocalist
Sophie Madorsky is a proud native of Cleveland, OH and will be graduating this spring with a BFA in Musical Theatre from the University of Michigan. Sophie first sang on a stage at the age of three and hasn’t stopped since! Some of her favorite memories on the stage include singing at Severance Hall with The Cleveland Orchestra, originating the role of Kate in a workshop of The Eagles’ musical, Hotel California, and playing Hermione in The Winter’s Tale at U of M last winter. This spring, you can see Sophie as Sally Smith in the University of Michigan’s production of Me and My Girl. Sophie would like to thank the Adrian Symphony Orchestra for inviting her to participate in this beautiful celebration of Movies, Music, and Sports!
